Some people think once they know something, they don't need to learn more - well not me. I love getting reinspired and learning from other professionals in the wedding industry. Photo Rehab was a 3 day workshop in the Asheville Mountains, were over 50 Wedding Photographers got together to learn, get inspired and create awesome stuff. Not only were there photographers, but we also got to work with Junebug, an amazing Wedding Blog. The Owners and creative forces behind the blog where there to create an amazing styled shoot for us, and also teaching us about how to get published and what editors look for - super exciting.

In a Military town like Fayetteville, North Carolina, coming and going of loved one is a daily thing - but it still hurts like hell every time it happens. Alissa + Jon - Wedding at Gregory Vineyards in Angier, North Carolina

Alissa + Jon are married - about damn time, as she likes to say! After over 6 years together, the two have tied the knot in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at Gregory Vineyard in Angier, North Carolina and I got to be their Wedding Photographer! Back in January, the two were first in front of my camera for their Engagement Session at Yates Mill Park in Raleigh, NC I can't even fathom how fast this year has past! The ceremony was a real tear jerker - Jon couldn't help but cry when he saw his beautiful bride walk down the isle. Alissa was smiling and giggling the entire time and they read the most amazing hand written vows to each other! After dinner, the party started! Alissa never left the dancefloor and they were partying the night away with their guests! What a fantastic wedding!

The Prather Family - Fayetteville North Carolina Family Photographer

A big reason why I love being a family photographer in Fayetteville North Carolina is that I get to see kids grow up. I first met the Prather Family for their Christmas Pictures a bit ago, and was so glad to see them again. Their little ones just got more adorable and their love for each other and the fun they have as a family is still super sweet!
