Eyebrows are a huge deal, at least to me and the rest of the online beauty community. For years, I tried to get the perfect eyebrows. I overplucked and overwaxed them in my younger years, and when the thicker, shaped brows became "the thing" I tried everything in my power to achieve that look with Brow Pomade, Brow Gel, Brow Liner - brow everything. If you know me, you know I take my eyebrows seriously, but you also know that I am not the most handy person. So while I am somewhat able to do my own make up (thanks to millions of hours of youtube tutorials), my brows were always a fight. Sometimes I had good brow days, sometimes one brow was great and the other one was just a mess. However, with all the practice in the world, I could never achieve the pretty natural groomed look that I wanted to.
These little girls are the absolute sweetest! Their mom Fonda asked me to take their first modeling shots and they did so well! These smiles! We had lots of fun in the park, looking for fairies, singing Disney songs and dancing around! When photographing children here in Fayetteville North Carolina, I love playing with them and making it fun - thats how we get natural smiles. Especially outside, the kids can play and run around and be in their element! I love photographing kids and it's actually how it all started over 3 years ago. I loved capturing photos of my nephew, and than started my business focused on photographing kids, later branching out from there. While kids aren't my main focus anymore, I do love spending time with them and taking their picture. It was my first love and has a spot deep in my heart!
Jaclyn & Matt got married at the Foundation Event Facility in Bristol, Tennessee - right on the border to Virginia. Literally - the Photos we took of them in the road are on the state line and just a couple of steps away from the Ceremony! A Wedding Photographer in Raleigh, North Carolina took to the road and travelled to photograph their wedding - something I love to do! Traveling is one of my favorite things to do & combining it with a beautiful Wedding is just perfect! The two vowed their love for each other in a gorgeous Loft like Location in Downtown. All the decorations were handmade by Jaclyn & her mother - she put a lot of thought into it and I absolutely love how it came out!
