I am so excited to introduce Courtney & Ronnie Privette! The two lovebirds got married at the Farm in Selma, North Carolina in a beautiful afternoon ceremony in October. They are both the absolute nicest people and so caring and kind.
Ronnie and Courtney shared the same mutual friends for a long time, and they reconnected in college. She used to call him to talk to him about anything and everything and she describes him as her best friend. She just knew how dependable he was and that she wanted him in her life for a long time. Through the good and best, their love always prevailed and grew stronger.
"I knew she was the one when I couldn't let her go -
When I realized that I couldn't imagine life without her."
Courtney's favorite thing about the wedding was standing at the altar and holding Ronnie's hands. "It was a moment we had both only imagined and we were finally living it. We were able to laugh and whisper to one another and although we were in front of our guests- it was a very intimate and special moment between us." Of course she also enjoyed the first kiss and having all their friends and family under one room celebrating together!
Now they are husband and wives. But how did they get there?
"We went to Boone for the weekend in early November 2014. We checked into our little condo for the weekend. Saturday morning we woke up and went to eat breakfast. There was probably 8" of snow that fell Friday night Saturday morning. I found an overlook in Boone called Erwin's peak that looked down onto some waterfalls. We walked all the way to the top. It was beautiful. We took in the views and I got onto one knee and asked Courtney if she would marry me."
